ReadInk

An independent publishing house in New York

❦

We write and publish our own books, then teach the exact system we use.

ReadInk helps first-time authors finish, publish and sell their first book. Most writers are handed scattered advice and wished luck. We give them a clear system instead: one lesson and one worksheet a day, in the right order, from the blank page to the readers the book was written for.

Every method in our courses was used on our own books first. Nothing borrowed, nothing generic, nothing we have not tested on real pages. Publishing should be a craft with a system behind it, never a gamble.

“We do not teach from the sidelines. We publish, then we teach.
The people
Two founders. One rule.

Never teach a method we have not used on our own books.

Trish Key, co-founder and writer at ReadInk
Trish Key
Co-founder · Writer

Trish writes the books. Before ReadInk taught a single lesson, she wrote and published A Pescatarian’s Cookbook with the same daily system you will find in our courses. Her three novels are being written the same way now, one page at a time.

Ty Browne, co-founder and editor of ReadInk
Ty Browne
Co-founder · Editor

Ty edits everything ReadInk makes, from every book on our shelf to every lesson and worksheet in our courses. Nothing reaches you until it has passed through Ty’s edit, so what you learn here has already been tested on real pages.

The proof is a book you can hold. A Pescatarian’s Cookbook · A Guide was written, edited and published end to end with the ReadInk system, and it is on our shelf and on Amazon today. Our novels are moving through the same system now.

ReadInk, in a line

ReadInk is an independent publishing house that carries authors from the blank page to a published book, and to the readers beyond it. Founded by Trish Key and Ty Browne. One standard governs all of it: where the page becomes a ritual.
