Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated 19 July 2026 · Effective 19 July 2026

We want you to feel confident buying from ReadInk. Everything we make is built to a standard, and we stand behind it. This policy explains your rights, our promises, and exactly how to reach us if something isn’t right — in plain, honest language.

The ReadInk Promise

A 14-day satisfaction guarantee on our courses.

If you begin a ReadInk course and find within 14 days that it isn’t right for you — and you have completed no more than the first module (roughly 20% of the course) — write to us and we’ll refund you in full. No arguments, no maze. We’d rather part as friends than keep a payment you regret.

1. Digital products & online courses

Because digital products — online courses, e-books, audiobooks, and downloadable materials — are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned,” sales are generally final once access has been granted. We believe in fairness over fine print, though, which is why we offer The ReadInk Promise above: a genuine 14-day satisfaction guarantee on our courses, provided you have used only a small part of the course (no more than the first module, about 20%). This lets you begin with confidence and step away if it isn’t the right fit.

Refund requests that fall outside the guarantee window, or where a substantial part of the course has already been completed, are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion — and we always read them with goodwill.

2. Cancellation rights for customers in the EU & UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content and receive a refund. However, the law also allows this right to end once supply of the digital content has begun with your agreement.

By purchasing a ReadInk digital product or course and choosing to access it immediately, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access has been granted. You confirm this agreement at checkout. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty or not as described, and it does not affect our own satisfaction guarantee described above, which is more generous than the law requires.

3. Physical products

For physical items — such as printed books or card decks — you may return an item within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition and packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items we do not receive.
  • Once we receive and inspect the return, we’ll confirm your refund by email.

4. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If anything arrives faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered — physical or digital — please contact us within 14 days with your order number and a photo where relevant. We will put it right promptly with a repair, replacement, or full refund, including any return shipping you paid. This is our responsibility, and we take it seriously.

5. How to request a refund or return

It’s simple, and a real person handles every request:

  1. Email us at tk@readink.org with the subject “Refund request.”
  2. Include your order number, the name of the product, and a short note on the reason.
  3. We’ll reply within 2 business days and guide you through the next step.

6. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Once we’ve confirmed your refund, please allow 5–10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. We’ll always email you when a refund is on its way.

7. Non-refundable items

Except where required by law or covered by our satisfaction guarantee, the following are not eligible for refund:

  • Digital products or courses where more than the first module has been accessed or a substantial portion completed, outside the 14-day guarantee window.
  • Gift cards and promotional or free items.
  • Physical items returned used, damaged, or without original packaging (unless faulty).

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any legal rights you have as a consumer, including rights relating to goods or digital content that are faulty or not as described. Where our policy is more generous than the law, the more generous terms apply.
