These terms are the agreement between you and ReadInk. We’ve written them to be read — clear, fair, and free of games. By using readink.org or buying from us, you agree to what follows. Please take a moment with it.

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing readink.org, creating an account, or purchasing a product or course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from us.

2. Who we are

ReadInk is a publishing house and education company operating readink.org. You can reach us at tk@readink.org.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase from ReadInk. By buying, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

Some products require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts and course access are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. Please tell us promptly at tk@readink.org if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Products, courses & descriptions

ReadInk offers online courses, books, card decks, audiobooks, and related materials. We work hard to describe every product accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions, images, or availability are always complete or error-free. Products marked “in production” or “coming soon” are not yet available for delivery. We may change or discontinue products at any time.

6. Your licence to our content

When you purchase a course or digital product, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use that content for your own learning and creative work. You may not copy, record, redistribute, publish, resell, sub-licence, or share the content or your account access with anyone else, and you may not use ReadInk materials to build a competing product or service. All rights not expressly granted remain with ReadInk.

7. Pricing & payment

Prices are shown on the product pages and may change at any time, though changes will not affect orders already placed. You are responsible for any taxes or duties that apply to your purchase. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment provider at checkout; by placing an order you authorise the charge for the total shown.

8. Delivery & access

Digital products and courses are delivered electronically — typically access is granted immediately or shortly after your payment is confirmed, through your account on readink.org. Physical products, where offered, are shipped to the address you provide within the timeframe noted at checkout. Please ensure your details are correct, as we are not responsible for delivery failures caused by inaccurate information.

9. Refunds

Our refund terms, including your statutory cancellation rights and our satisfaction guarantee, are set out in full in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Acceptable use

When using ReadInk, you agree not to:

• use the site or content for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful purpose;
• copy, scrape, data-mine, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our content or source code;
• share, resell, or provide others access to content or courses you have licensed;
• interfere with the security or operation of the site, or upload malicious code;
• impersonate ReadInk or any other person, or misuse our name or marks.

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach, without refund where the breach is material.

11. Intellectual property

All content on readink.org — including courses, text, worksheets, decks, audio, images, logos, the ReadInk name and marks, and the design of the site — is owned by ReadInk or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

12. Reviews & your content

If you submit a review, testimonial, or other content, you confirm it is truthful and your own, and you grant ReadInk a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and share it in connection with our business, with attribution as appropriate. We may decline or remove content at our discretion, and we will not publish a testimonial in a way that misrepresents what you said.

13. Disclaimers & no guarantee of results

ReadInk’s courses and materials are provided for educational purposes. They share systems, methods, and craft — but we make no promise or guarantee of any particular result, including sales, income, publication, or “bestseller” outcomes. Your results depend on your own work, your book, and factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReadInk and its founder, team, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and this clause does not affect the statutory rights of consumers.

15. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights and the courts available to you under the law of your country of residence. We’d always rather resolve things directly first: please write to tk@readink.org and we will work with you in good faith.

16. Changes, and how to reach us

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. These terms, together with our Privacy and Refund policies, are the entire agreement between us.
